What Are Assisted Reproductive Techniques?
Assisted Reproductive Techniques are the medical methods and treatments we apply to couples who cannot conceive naturally. Stimulation of the ovaries (ovarian induction) and intrauterine insemination, In vitro fertilization (IVF, ICSI) treatments are included in this definition.
How Do We Plan The Treatment?
First of all, we investigate the reasons why couples cannot conceive naturally. Then if we decide to perform intrauterine insemination or IVF treatment, we start our treatment after talking to our couple and drawing up a detailed program.
When Should Assisted Reproductive Methods Be Applied?
We apply assisted reproductive methods in couples who can not conceive in case of having regular intercourse for 1 year with using natural methods and without taking any birth control method.
However, an important note: This period is 6 months for those aged 35 and over.
Which Treatment Should Be Applied?
After taking medical history, performing physical examination and ultrasound and with the help of some tests done in our clinic we plan a personalized treatment for our couples.
